This is an exceptional example of the ultimate series of Aston Martin V8 Coupe. Built between 1986 and 1989, the Series 5 V8s were equipped with electronic sequential fuel injection, in preference to carburettors, delivering a smoother and more fuel efficient power package rated at 310bhp. Production ceased after just 59 coupes had been built and the new 1990 Virage model was introduced.
This one family owner example with 5 speed ZF manual transmission from new is one of only 6 motor cars built to this specification making it one of the rarest Astons ever produced. The car has covered only 45,000 miles in the hands of a father and son and remains in perfect and original condition, having never needed restoration. The car remains with the exact specification as it left the factory and we consider that no upgrades are required which would potentially spoil the originality of this particular motor car. Supplied new in 1987 via Yorkshire's leading Aston Martin Franchise, JCT 600, the widow of the original owner remembers visiting the car at the Newport Pagnell factory during the build of the car. This superb late model V8 EFI, is accompanied by a comprehensive history file which includes factory build records, the original warranty card, MOT certificates and handbook and servicing records with Aston Martin and recognised specialists.
Available for viewing at our Buckinghamshire premises, the car is supplied freshly serviced with a 12 month warranty and new MOT certificate. Attractively priced at £225,000
